TABI arrived to the Patagonia for good

Santa Cruz will be the first argentine province that incorporates TABI technological resources to all their Initial Level institutions, with the goal of fortifying the scholar path of children between 3 and 5 years old.

As was expressed by the authorities of the Provincial Council of Education when beginning the initiative in the kindergarten n°51 of the city of Caleta Olivia, where each kid already counts with their own TABI to learn playing.

The coordinator of ICTs of the province, Nicolás Bahamóndez Mora, indicated that the presentation of this proposal in the kindergarten 51 “is due because it has an important trajectory in the incorporation of ICTs to the Initial Level”.

“That’s why we work with its teachers in the search of a device with special characteristics –he explained- to stimulate and develop the children’s cognitive abilities, and that worked with the imagination, creativity, manual ability, memory and motricity”.

The governor of Santa Cruz, Daniel Peralta, accompanied in person the launching of TABI in Caleta Olivia and participated in a pedagogical activity to come in direct contact with the benefits of Eurocase’s educational device and the practical guides for teachers that come with the apps

Convinced of the importance of “doting all the levels of the educative system with technological resources that have pedagogical purposes”, the provincial authorities conformed a team integrated by professionals with pedagogical profiles and technicians to proceed with the project.

The head-teacher of kindergarten n°51, Marisol Godoy, was placed as a pedagogical referent leading the project of acquisition of Digital Classrooms for all the kindergartens of the province, which will have an estimated investment of 9 million pesos.

Each digital classroom will be conformed by 40 TABI devices, plus one for the teacher, with a different design.

According to those responsible for the project, durability, resistance to shocks, its portability, its intuitive parental control and the app pack and their activity guides specially developed by a first rate pedagogical team were the qualities that mattered the most in the election of TABI.

This way, TABI secures its place as the preferred device to integrate technology in the Initial Level Education of the region.
